Volunteers program and making a donating on the Website require you to be of at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction in order to to participate.

You are required to be of at least 13 years old to Create an Account, We do not knowingly allow or accept registrations of individuals of below 13 years old.
If it comes to our attention that you do not meet the above requirement We will prevent you from accessing Your Account and delete your user data.

Donations
We allow donations to be made to support our causes and stay true to our mission.
Currently we only accept monetary donations through the Website.
We accept one-time or monthly donations which are processed by third-party payment processors.
Some payment methods are not available in some regions and countries thereby limiting or disabling donations.

Eligibility
One-time donations of less than KES 100 made through M-PESA are NOT eligible for refunds.
One-time international donations of less than $20 are NOT eligible for refunds.
Only the following types of donations are eligible for a refund:
- Online donations processed through our Website (85% of the original donation)
- Mobile money donations. (refundable amount = 95% of the original donation amount)
- Cheques made payable to the Organisation. (refundable amount = 95% of the donation amount)
Request Process
You must submit your request within 7 work days since the original donation date.
To request a refund, please write to us via email at [email protected] in the following format.
Subject: REFUND: [Reason for refund]
Please include the following documentation with your request:
- Proof of transaction. (SMS or email you received from your payment processor)
- Reason for requesting a refund (e.g., duplicate donation, error in processing)
Processing Time
We will review your request and respond within 7 work days to let you know whether we approve your refund request.
If approved, the refund will be processed and issued within 3 work days after receiving all required documentation.
Denial of Refund Requests
If your refund request is denied, you will receive notification explaining the reason(s) for denial. You may appeal the decision by submitting additional evidence or explanation.
